HotKeys  In the settings panel you have the options to set up 10 hotkeys. Hotkeys are used to send predetermined messages to the room. You may customise these keys to say what ever you want, the tags available for use in HotKeys are the same as the tags available when you type a message.
There are 2 Types of HotKeys, this first type places the text in the send text box (where you would normally type your messages). With this type of message, it is not send directly to the room, so you can change the contents of the message prior to clicking the Send button.
The second type of  HotKey sends your HotKey message directly into the room. To create this type of HotKey, you must end your custom text with [Send]. The [Send] directive simulates the click of the Send button.

Examples

Type 1 Hotkey - Text is placed in the send text text box
Hello %all% , how are we today?
Type 2 HotKey - Text is sent directly to the room
Hello %all%, how are we today?[send]

To edit the HotKeys, click on the hotkey you wish to change, a dialogue box will appear, enter the text and click OK. If you decide not to change the text, click cancel or simply close the dialog box.
Access to the HotKeys is via the CTRL button and the number of the Hotkey eg CTRL+0. This works only when you have the cursor in the send text, text box. HotKeys do not work in whisper boxes.

REVISION HISTORY
What's New - This revision history only shows versions that have been released to the website.
Revision 288 (22.01.06)
* Encryption built in for private conversation, when one person sets the encryption on, the messages sent are encrypted. If one of the two people chatting set encryption on, the other person's whisper is automatically encrypted. Both people in the conversation need to switch encryption off for the encryption to be disabled.

The encryption option is provided for people who are on Local Area Networks and feel that they may be subject to "snooping". In the case of someone "snooping" your traffic, they will only see garbage not the content of the messages. The encryption code key changes every time a message is sent or received.

* The built in games have been removed and will be provided as a second control at a later date.

* The connect button is now on the lower right of the control
* Removed the room topic bar to allow for a larger useable chat area
Revision 301 (24.01.06)
* Added the topic back in when you connect or change rooms
* Removed blank line before topic
